虽然拿到rejection有点心酸，但也许你的各项指标都达到或者超过学校的要求，并且你认为你的提交的各项材料已经表达了十足的诚意与能力这时候不妨尝试以下argue appeal, 也许柳暗花明又一村 今天给大家总结了一些写argue信要注意的细节，再放上一个我写的成功的argue sample 供大家参考（没有模板，纯写作）。

备注：目前由于疫情 影响，有一些拿到offer的申请人选择defer, gap或者不入学，4、5月期间，英国部分高校又发放了一批Offer，主要为了满足入学率所以大家可以尝试下argue, 学校在此期间也许会有内部政策更新，argue有机会成功。

写信前：确认你已经达到院校的基本要求，且了解到和你同等层次的申请人拿到了录取2. 写Argue信前先查看下学校是否有明确的‘不受理 argue’ 的政策，若没有，请尽快开始3. 不要拖延，拿到拒信后最好一周内递交argue appeal。

4. 写argue信时直接联系院系代表或主任，抄送admission, 不要只发给admission，他们往往没有直接权力修正录取结果5. 对于appeal结果心态要放好，切勿患得患失如果成功了是一个意外惊喜，当然失败了也要当成既定事实，不用太过纠结。

过程尽力就好Argue信内容：有明确论据和论点（比如高GPA, 非常匹配的背景等，或者额外的经历与考试成绩十分突出）2. 信的内容展现你的态度：积极、诚恳而不是怨恨、生气和抱怨3. 尽量写得比较personal, 以你的口吻和真挚打动院校，而不是照抄模板。

4. 逻辑思维一定要理清楚5. 信的内容简短，切记长篇大论，收信人不会有那么多时间处理信件，简明扼要即可6. 信的内容中要展示你对于未来的计划（职业、学业），你如何能够胜任严格的学术要求？对于毕业后的职业规划要大气有谱（学校录取标准有一部分是参考申请人潜在的alumni impacts，因此职业规划非常重要）。

举例：分析原因：申请人猜测被拒愿意-GPA比较一般Argue Counterpoints: 成绩达标 GPA 3.5/85%，不是最突出，但是其他软件条件优秀！2. 非常好的职业背景和前景3. 一直在继续努力，已经安排好了暑假实习，从不懈怠

Argue Appeal Letter Sample:Dear Professor XXX and Admission Committee,I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing this appeal to re-address my fitted candidacy for the MSc xxx program I applied. I felt a little stunned by your rejection earlier as I was very confident about my academic abilities and professional ambition. I have made every effort to build up my maturity, professionalism as well as internalized my education during the college years. Thus, Im writing to hopefully receive your attention and reconsideration for the admission decision made.

I admit that I have a relative average GPA compared to the majority of students admitted; however, I don’t think it demonstrates my poor academic performances. I did make tremendous efforts in succeeding and maintaining the GPA under strict circumstances. My university is famous for its strict and fair grading system nationwide but I could proudly say I handled my workload well and my rank with top 6% demonstrates my abilities and efforts. I understand your university, as one of the best universities in the world, demands excellent academic performances for applicants; however, my GPA has fulfilled the requirement and I believe my professionalism has exceeded many other admitted students I know of.

I additionally balanced well my academic performances with my versatile and diverse social and professional experiences. Since freshman year, I carefully planned to establish my career path in the field of XXXX. I chose each of my internship and extracurricular activity, pushing myself to stay out of my comfort zone, expanding my social networks, and most importantly, paving my career progression and strengthening professionalism. I have so far worked for three promising companies and have landed a graduate scheme position at a Fortune 500 company.

After conducting in-depth research on school reputation, module designs, and potential career choices, the University of XXXX is a dream choice of mine. If I am reinstated, I will be focusing much more on demonstrating my academic abilities and consolidating my research experiences. As this degree is more oriented towards practical experiments, I also plan to seek part-time internships or volunteer projects to boost my innovation and practical skills.
